Why GreenCycle backs Leafy Lab: Growing stronger networks for a greener Auckland

Commercial, Sustainability
Two years ago, GreenCycle began sponsoring Leafy Lab to reflect our commitment to strengthening the networks that shape Auckland’s green future. Today, Leafy Lab has evolved into a community of professionals across design, planning, ecology, arboriculture, and horticulture who come together to tackle the challenges of modern urban green space.
The conversations sparked at each event – supported by guest speakers from Council, environmental research, plant production, arboriculture, landscape practice, and more – have helped build a shared understanding of what resiliant Auckland green space design could look like. It’s been rewarding to see networks grow and ideas take root.

As Leafy Lab continues to grow, we’re proud to be part of a community that shares our belief in greener environments, stronger professional networks, and a more sustainable future for Auckland.

Leafy Lab thrives because of the community behind it. If you want to join, connect on LinkedIn or Facebook. Their next gathering is 5.30pm Wednesday, March 11th at The Horse and Trap, Mt Eden.
